Camp Accommodation
Not quite glamping, but we offer first class tent accommodation with comfy stretcher beds set up under weatherproof covers, ready to go for your group on the edge of the Gheebulum Kunungai (Moreton Island) National Park. Campers are accommodated in 1 of 15 large cabin style canvas tents. These 2 roomed tents are grouped under large covers for complete weather protection and fit up to 6 people per tent with comfortable stretcher beds for each camper. You must bring your own bedding (eg. sleeping bags or blankets, sheets and pillows).
Our Dining area is under a large undercover area providing a meeting and eating location, with seating and tables for up to 140 people. This doubles as the recreational area for evening camp activities and socialising. The camp has adequate undercover areas in the event of bad weather. As we are completely off grid, limited lighting is distributed to tents and camp surrounds by a solar system and back up generator. The main area also provides power to charge mobile phones and cameras (no high wattage items).
The toilet and shower block is adjacent to the camp. Shower time is limited to reduce load on off grid water supply.
